In our previous articles, we have already discussed why it is worth registering as a page on the largest social networking platform, and then we have discussed what data and why it is useful to fill in our profile. But beyond that, there are also a few things to consider when reviewing your winery’s interface at the beginning of the year or when creating a new page.<\/span><\/p>\n

Username<\/strong><\/p>\n

When you enter the name of your page, Facebook automatically creates a corresponding username. This is also useful because, unlike in the past, it will now appear in your page link instead of a hard-to-remember, randomly generated string of letters and numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n

If, for some reason, this name does not suit you, you can create a new one by following these rules:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 no one else is using that username;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 in addition to letters and numbers, only periods are allowed;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 differences between upper and lower case letters and periods are not taken into account by Facebook, so for example, it doesn\u2019t matter whether you write \u2019Legjobbbor\u2019, \u2019legjobbbor\u2019 or \u2019legjobb.bor\u2019, it\u2019s all the same;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 must consist of at least five characters.<\/span><\/p>\n

The reason why it is so important that the username is easy to read and really appropriate for your company is because it makes it easier to display on other surfaces (e.g. printed brochures, flyers). To avoid abuse, you may not be able to change your username immediately after launching the site – you may need to reach a minimum number of followers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Call Button<\/strong><\/p>\n

You may want to take advantage of the call to action feature, which is currently located just to the right of the bottom bar of the cover image. Here you can read a variety of pre-written calls to action, which can vary depending on the type of page you are on.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whichever call-to-action option you choose, you can provide an external link to take the reader to the appropriate page on your website or other online platform, drive traffic to your own webshop or merchant partner, increase subscribers to your newsletter or register guests for an event. We can set or change the button on our cover image.<\/span><\/p>\n
