5 reasons why a winery should register as a facebook page
Facebook offers two basic ways of being seen: as a person and as a page. Many wineries still don’t have a page on this social media platform and some use their personal profile as a company presence. Why you should this change?
1. Data, contact details
Depending on the category of your site, you may publish slightly different information about yourself in your business card. So, while you may not publish similar information as an individual, you may post your address, telephone and other contact details, how to get there, opening hours
2. Advertisements
The fact that you can also use advertising as a business site may not seem like a real positive at first, as you may think it’s just extra expenses. However, Facebook is one of the most targeted and best value for money advertising platforms today, where you can run ads for as little as a few thousand forints.

3. Unique functions
According to the page category selected, you can use specific features as a Facebook page that are not available to private individuals. For example, when guests visit you they can sign in at your place as a local business. When using this tool, called check-in, your guests’ friends will see that they have visited your winery or uploaded photos of their visits.
4. Analysis
Facebook is careful to put as much content as possible on its surfaces that people are interested in. As a page operator, you also get feedback on the types of posts that are most valued by your followers, and as a page, you have access to detailed statistics. In addition to letting you know how many people have seen each post, it also provides complex graphs showing the many types of action taken towards your page – such as followers, reactions, the comments and, likes on your organic impressions and ads.
5. Rules
Finally, it is also more appropriate to register the winery as a page, because that is what the rules require, and if the system operators discover that someone is communicating as a person on behalf of a company, they can delete the page with all its followers and their pictures and posts.
